"I don't know who most of these guys are," is also what I say at the start of each DCU season. That and, "I hope Arriola will stay healthy."

Is it possible to deduct 2 points from everyone across the board just for general rubbishness? That was so uninspiring. You could almost see Haiti realize at some point that this level of blah was all they were going to see, so they might as well try and win.

Interesting to me that these players have become almost ever-presents under Ggreggg: Yuell, Acosta, Zardes, Lletget, and Arriola, and none of those even worry me on their MLS teams (Altho, didn't Yuell score a banger against DC United early in this season...?) They're not even domionant MLS players to my mind. Meanwhile he continues to try every goal keeper not named Hamid, someone who can actually save you points.

This team with out the Eurokids doesn't seem to have a good idea of what to do in the final third.

Point taken, but I think that's what you get with a B-team -- if they were lethal players who score goals in bunches, they'd be on the A-team. Some show promise -- yes, Yueill scored a 25-yard volley against DCU (what an asshole) and was also one of the only players on the Olympic roster whose stock went up. Guys like Lletget and Acosta don't really EXCITE me, but qualifying and often even the WC itself usually involves pretty-major roles for one or two role-player-type guys. Aside from Hamid (who, to be fair, is coming off of an injury), there aren't really a bunch of guys I think should be in camp but aren't (since I've accepted the premise that the A-team guys should be with their clubs).

Busio seems worth watching. And Dike. Anyone early-20s and under could still break through and be a major guy.
