I hate to agree with MacMan, but the "all comedy back then was ethnic comedy" line was a groaner. Mark Steele's episode about Charlie Chaplin is a brilliant portrait of an artist who, over a hundred years ago, was working at a level of compassion and empathy that Star Trek: Discovery didn't try for until the middle of season three!
