It really wasn’t always this way: I did a search on “Hamas” at The Onion, and here’s the results:
You see this huge gap between 2014 and 2021, but the Before Times ones cover a lot of ground! My favorite is “Hamas Calls For ‘Giant Summit’ With All Israelis”
For comparison, do a search on The Babylon Bee (they don’t keep the search term in the URL; sorry, I can’t do everything for you!). Definitely more focused on the “Hamas kills people” side of things.

Pretty clear this is the goal, and the Israelis are making a damned good start of it. I was stunned to hear from a female settler lived in the (illegal) occupied territory these words: "First we get the hostages back. Then we kill them all." Pretty clear and to the point. The Israelis have so blinded themselves to what they do that they cannot see the glaring parallels between themselves herding the Palestinians into ghettos and European Jews being herded into ghettos 80 years ago. Nazis referred to the Jews as subhuman: Israeli government officials refer to the Palestinians as animals. 10 Palestinians are slaughtered for every Israeli killed, and they view this as proportionate. FYI I am Jewish myself: my family came from eastern Poland/ western Ukraine during the pogroms. But no one possessed of a basic knowledge of history and a human heart can deny what is happening here. BTW, I am not on Tiktok, and barely on Twitter. Usually enjoy your podcast, but this hit a nerve.
