A bit of historical perspective here. It is not solely the left that have been the proponents of "cancel culture." Go back to the 1950's and try saying something positive about desegregation. The McCarthy (Joe not Kevin) folks would come after you, get you fired and sometimes even put in jail. So cancel culture not started by nor the first child of the left.
