If you’re interested in what Jesse might have said if he’d been able to speak, he did a follow up on his own podcast with Katie Herzog, there’s a bit of a lead-in but they start about 13-14 min into the episode: https://open.substack.com/pub/blockedandreported/p/episode-181-jesse-calls-into-the?r=bw20v&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post

I would personally love a walkthrough on how you would build a bit around the Lauren boebert “happy hands” episode and how the writers room would curate the jokes to decide what’s “going too hard”vs “I’m not feeling this bit”

“we have this hunk in hand”,

“let’s do something else, we’re beating a dead hog and it’s getting masterbatory”,

“ooh let’s tie the finish with a joke about a political figure getting shot in the back of the head in a theatre”
