I see my fellow Dems as whistling in the canoe just upriver from the waterfall. Nothing against JB and I would vote for Robert Menendez over Trump, but wake up Dems, this is a loser, and a Gretchen Whitmer could win.
I think we tend to lose with candidates from the uber liberal states CA, NY, MA, at least since JFK. Roy Cooper.

Ab Gavin Newsom. The adorable “rules for thee but not for me” candidate. Him running nationally will be good for his ego. And by good I mean “a wake up call” for his ego.
Run it back in Michigan now and Whitmer might lose by a margin like what she won. Many of us were still hypnotized at that point. The Ds do not have anyone who can even get close enough to make a fraudulent "win" believable. Wilderness for them and maybe the next generation will improve.
This whole group sucks, which is why Democrats are sticking with Biden. Whitmer probably has the best chance. Pritzker is too rich, Polis too left. Gavison is insufferable and Warnyk doesn't have the chops.

I'd vote for any of them, top choice Whitmer, though I think the comedy world would benefit more from Newsom.
